MLC School Sport, Shining in Term 3
It’s Week 4, and MLC School Sport continues to shine! With one of our busiest periods of the IGSA sporting calendar underway, our teams are competing with energy, determination and pride across the board.
We are particularly excited that, for the first time in several years, MLC School has Senior teams competing in IGSA Division 1 across all four major Saturday sports – Basketball, Netball, Football and Hockey. Our teams are performing competitively week after week, demonstrating the continued growth and development of MLC School Sport.
A special acknowledgement goes to our newly established MLC School Diving Club, coached by MLC School’s own Olympic and Commonwealth Head Coach, Golden. The program continues to go from strength to strength, with our athletes recently achieving outstanding medal results at the Diving Interclub competition at SOPAC. It is incredibly exciting to see the growth of the program in such a short period of time.
Term 4 Sport Registrations
Term 4 sport choices are now open, and it is important that students register early to ensure they don’t miss out on their preferred sports. Please check the Omina platform for information about the sports available and registration details.

We wish our MLC School Snow Sports Team safe travel as they head to Perisher next week for the NSW State Interschools Snowsports Championships. Students will compete both as part of the school team and individually across nine disciplines. We wish all our athletes the very best of luck!
We also wish our MLC School Athletics Team all the best as they prepare for the annual IGSA Athletics Championships next Friday. We look forward to seeing our athletes take to the track and represent MLC School with pride.
Finally, best of luck to all our MLC School teams competing this weekend. We look forward to another exciting round of competition!
