Agents of Change

How do you change the world and make it better?  This is a question Leila Najdi (Year 5) addressed when she wrote a speech for the ‘Raise Our Voice’ competition held in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney. As the successful winner of the competition, her speech was read out in Federal Parliament by her local Federal member Simon Kennedy.

Year 5 was especially proud of Leila as her speech advocated for vision impaired people.  Having students at our school with visual access challenges was a strong motivation for her.
