Year 3

Year 3 celebrated one another during International Friendship Week with a reflective lesson exploring their friendship superpowers. The students found the task challenging, as many were unable to identify their own strengths yet could clearly recognise and articulate the positive qualities they see in others. This experience supported the development of empathy, social awareness and growing confidence in understanding how their actions contribute to a supportive classroom community.

International Friendship Day promotes kindness, respect and understanding between one another, encouraging students to extend friendship beyond their immediate circles. Through small acts of inclusion and connection, Year 3 began to see how their friendship superpowers can help create a school environment where every student feels valued and supported.
