From the P&F Association
Welcome to Term 3!
Welcome back to Term 3! It feels like we say it every term, but these holidays really have flown by. We hope everyone enjoyed the opportunity to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and return refreshed for another exciting term ahead.
While our school community has been enjoying a well-deserved break, there has certainly been no shortage of activity behind the scenes.
On behalf of the P&F Executive, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new Principal, Mrs Elizabeth Brooks. Several members of the Executive had the privilege of attending the 10-Year Dominican Education Australia celebrations, where it was inspiring to see the strength of the Dominican family and the shared values that connect our schools and communities.
We were also honoured to attend the celebrations for St Dominic’s Day and the commissioning of Mrs Brooks. It was a special occasion that marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Community.
Mrs Brooks, welcome to our Santa family. We are thrilled to have you come back to our community and look forward to working alongside you as your vision for our College unfolds. We know you will be warmly embraced by our students, families and staff, and we are excited for all that lies ahead.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the events and activities planned throughout the term.
P&F General Meeting
The next Parents and Friends (P&F) General Meeting is coming up and we would love to see as many of you there as possible! Ms Elizabeth Brooks will be joining us and it would be a wonderful opportunity to meet and hear from her. Ali Piccone, Head of Creative Arts at St Lucy’s and current parent at Santa, will also be addressing the meeting about St Lucy’s satelite school and the partnership with Santa Sabina.
