A colourful start to Term 3!

It has been wonderful to see everyone’s smiling faces again after the holidays. We are excited for all the learning, friendships and special moments that Term 3 will bring.

Science

This term in Science, the students will be participating in a variety of hands-on experiments that encourage them to wonder, predict, question and investigate. These experiences help develop important scientific thinking skills while making learning fun and engaging.

This week, the students took part in the colourful Skittles Experiment. Before adding water to the Skittles, the children made predictions about what they thought would happen. They then carefully observed and discussed the changes they could see as the colours dissolved and spread across the plate, creating vibrant patterns. The students were fascinated by the results and enjoyed sharing their observations with their classmates. This exciting experiment helped strengthen their observation, prediction, and inquiry skills.

We are looking forward to another fabulous term of learning in Prep!
