Holiday Eisteddfod Achievements
Several of our students spent the holidays preparing for and competing in eisteddfods across Sydney.
Annabel Han (Year 3, cello) placed 3rd in the Grade 3 and 4 All Strings section of the St George Eisteddfod.
Dana Hyun (Year 8, cello) placed 1st in the Open Sonata (13 to 15 years) and 2nd in the Etude All Strings (13 and over) sections of the of the St George Eisteddfod.
Veronica Pan (Year 10, clarinet) placed 3rd in the Clarinet (Any Age) and 2nd in the Clarinet (15 and under) sections of the Sydney Eisteddfod.
Juah Hyun (Year 12) won the NSW Doctors Orchestra Prize (18 and under) as part of the Sydney Eisteddfod. This is one of Australia’s most significant prizes for young musicians.
Well done to all our students who participated in competitions over the break. If your daughter participated in any eisteddfods over the break or this year, please do let us know. We love to hear about the hard work our students are putting in.
