Pre-Kindergarten Meet Year 5 Buddies

On Tuesday, the Pre-Kindergarten students were so excited to meet their Year 5 buddies from 5P, Ms Peterson’s class. Year 5 were welcomed into the Pre-Kindergarten studio and they were paired with two to three Pre-Kindergarten students.

Buddies is a wonderful opportunity for students to build connections across year levels, fostering a sense of belonging, confidence, and community within the school. The Pre-Kindergarten students thoroughly enjoyed showing their buddies around the studio, proudly introducing different areas of our learning space and inviting them to explore a variety of activities together.

It was lovely to see the students engaging in shared play experiences, with the Year 5 girls supporting, guiding, and joining in with enthusiasm. We look forward to continuing to build these special relationships each fortnight, throughout the year.
