Year 6 Mathematics

In our Mathematics lessons we have been using isometric paper to draw 3D shapes that were constructed using linking cubes. We also drew isometric drawings of 3D shapes. I really enjoyed the task and felt I drew well because I have studied sketching before. It was a fun way to use our understanding of 3D Shapes.

In our Mathematics class we have been drawing 3D shapes using isometric paper. I have really enjoyed this task as you get to learn how to draw different shapes that we have created with linking cubes. I found it a little frustrating as it was hard to not get confused while drawing the shape. Although it was hard to draw, I have persevered to draw new shapes.

In our Maths class we experienced drawing isometric shapes. This was a creative activity that let us expand our imagination when drawing shapes.

In Maths class, we were working on isometric drawings using 3D shapes. I enjoyed using my creativity in drawing these shapes. Although challenging and confusing, it was still enjoyable and expanded my knowledge of 3D shapes.

In Maths, we have been learning about isometric drawing. I have really enjoyed it and it has challenged me in many ways. It has tested me to try a different way of drawing that was difficult at first. It was also a way to challenge my creativity when thinking of shapes as I had to use only 6 blocks to create a 3D shape. I showed perseverance with the task.
