Kindergarten
For Science Week, Kindergarten headed outside to make their own oobleck, mixing corn flour, water and food colouring. Working with partners from across the grade, students found that pressing, squeezing or tapping the mixture made it feel solid in their hands, while leaving it still let it slowly ooze and drip like a liquid. Students tested, compared and got their hands well and truly covered in oobleck. It’s a lesson we don’t think they’ll forget any time soon!
