Father’s Day Celebration

On 3 September, we were delighted to welcome many fathers, grandfathers and special father figures to our school for our Father’s Day celebrations.

The morning began with a special Father’s Day Breakfast, providing families with an opportunity to gather and enjoy time together as a community. Following breakfast, we celebrated a beautiful Father’s Day Mass, where we gave thanks for the love, guidance and support that fathers and father figures provide in our lives.

A highlight of the morning was hearing from Albert Metledge and his daughters, Marie, Evi and Sophie who shared their reflections and insights about fatherhood and family life. Their words provided a meaningful reminder of the important role fathers and father figures play in nurturing, supporting and guiding their children.

We thank all those who were able to join us and help make the morning so special. A sincere thank you also to our staff and students for their preparation and participation in both the breakfast and Mass.

As a school community, we continue to pray for and celebrate all fathers, grandfathers, carers and role models who nurture, guide and support our children each day. Their presence and influence are a treasured gift in the lives of our students.

Crazy Sock Day

The Social Justice Team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all students, families and staff who supported our Crazy Sock Day. It was wonderful to see so many colourful and creative socks around the school!

Your generous donations will help support those in need and make a positive difference in the lives of others. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and kindness shown by our school community and thank everyone for helping make the day such a success.

As we come to the end of another busy term, I would like to thank our students, families and staff for their continued support, partnership and commitment to our school community. I wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break, filled with time to relax, reconnect with loved ones and create special memories.
