What’s been happening in Prep?

Our Prep students have been busy learning, exploring and creating through a range of exciting experiences.

In Science, we explored the question,‘What does fizzy mean?‘ The children enthusiastically shared their ideas before taking part in our Fizzy Colours experiment. Using bicarb soda, vinegar, dishwashing liquid, food colouring and droppers, they created colourful bubbling reactions and observed what happened when the ingredients were combined. There were lots of smiles, excitement and wonder as the children explored, experimented and learned through hands-on discovery.

Our youngest athletes also had a wonderful time participating in their very first Athletics Carnival. It was a joy to see the children enthusiastically take part in the events, demonstrate great sportsmanship and cheer on their friends throughout the day. The carnival was filled with fun, teamwork and many proud moments.

We are so proud of the curiosity, enthusiasm and joyful approach to learning that our Prep students bring to each day. As they enter their final term of Prep, we look forward to watching them continue to grow in confidence, independence and their love of learning, and sharing more of their adventures with you.
