Release of the new UAC ATAR Estimator

UAC have released a new web-based ATAR estimator called ATAR Compass. Students can enter HSC courses
and estimated HSC marks to receive an estimate of the ATAR that might be achieved. This tool should be used
as a guide only.
ATAR Compass will become part of UAC’s suite of Compass products, which also includes Subject Compass
and Course Compass.

TAFE NSW – no ATAR requirement for courses including some degree options

You don’t need an ATAR to study a degree with TAFE NSW Study. A Bachelor degree, post graduate or higher education qualification with TAFE NSW, and graduate with strong theoretical knowledge, practical experience and industry connections that will give your students a head start in their career. Year 12 2024 Cohort UAC information

Applications for university entry in 2024 will open in early April 2023. In the weeks leading up to April, UAC will update the information on their website. On the day applications open UAC will email individual UAC PINs to the new cohort of Year 12 students so that they can start applying.

AFL SportsReady – Applications open for 2023 AFL Young Leader Traineeship program

Do you want to launch a career in sports administration and/or sports development?   • Indeed are another recruitment site that list dozens of jobs you can browse
  • The Student Job Board might have something for you too – you’ll need to check eligibility as this site might be more targeted towards uni students
  • Adventure Pro feature casual jobs in the outdoors if that sounds like your perfect summer job
  • This blog lists a few ideas of jobs to consider and contains a couple of links to relevant organisations as well
  • Search for local job sites in your area, such your local council’s website
  • There are plenty of farmers crying out for workers all across Australia, so have a look at sites like Harvest Jobs
