Newman Classes 2023

At Marist Sisters’ College Woolwich, the process of constructing classes is a lengthy one involving evaluation of various data points. As you can appreciate, it is essential that as professionals we engage in rich and genuine discussion around the structure and composition of all classes to best meet the learning needs of our students.

Communication is essential in this process, therefore any movement between classes will be communicated to the students and parents.

A reminder that students in mixed ability classes still have the opportunity to complete the extension assessment tasks. Flexible groupings and differentiated classwork are also ways of extending students in mixed ability classes.
