Instrumental Music Program
The IMP is very excited to recommence rehearsals from Week 8, Term 2. It will be exciting to hear how music sounds that has been prepared in isolation, as part of our weekly online IMP activities. Look out for streamed performances from IMP ensembles, coming your way in Term 3!
Earlier this term all IMP members were invited to take part in a group isolation recording of Gaudeamus. This involved IMP musos recording themselves along to a backing track and submitting these recordings. Lots of IMP members rose to the many challenges presented by isolation recordings, and learned a lot along the way. Nearly 200 tracks in total were mixed and edited by the IMP conducting team and the finished product is now up on YouTube.
