Year 7

I am so pleased with how the girls have navigated this term. It’s been a challenging time for them and I think they’ve coped very well to make the shift from learning at home online to being back on campus. Online learning posed many challenges for the girls and I think they’ve showed an immeasurable amount of resilience and perseverance. Many of the girls are still feeling behind in some subjects, so while the holidays should be a time to rest and reset, I would like to encourage the girls to use some of the time to revise, or catch up where they feel behind.

The Luminary groups focused on friendship and connection this week. Either spending Luminary time creating a gift or writing a note or poem to their ‘Anonymous Appreciation Amigos’, or taking some time out on the Hockey fields to bond over a game of dodgeball. It’s been wonderful to see the girls carry out their random acts of kindness, showing their appreciation for their peers.

I hope you and your daughters have a relaxing break and I look forward to working with Year 7 in Term 3.

As always, please email if you have any questions or concerns.
