Pre-K and the Beanstalk

The Junior School kitchen gardeners took the opportunity to plant some seedlings last term before flexible learning commenced. Over the last few months, the bean seeds have grown significantly. The beans have climbed up the windmill structure, reminding us of the story Jack and the Beanstalk.  The Pre-K girls took advantage of the sunny weather and picked all the beans from the vine and also the cherry tomatoes. The joy of eating freshly picked vegetables is priceless.
