Year 10

Year 10

Year 10 have had a great term improving their academic skills and preparing themselves for the Senior Years ahead. Usually Term 1 can be a challenging term for a cohort and since this one is a particularly long term, the cohort have done a good job handling the challenges they have faced. Their long schedule of assessments that were presented to them at the beginning of term seems like a distant memory and many feel a great sense of accomplishment.

To celebrate Harmony Day and our rich diverse community, next Friday 5 April 2024 there will be a Mufti Day for the Senior School students. They are welcome to wear cultural dress, a sport jersey, a flag of their country or orange clothes.

As we are two weeks before the end of term and have our final weeks of Summer uniform, it doesn’t mean a great deal of difference for Senior Years but please be mindful of the following:

  • Students need their blazer as an outer garment to and from school
  • Either long navy socks or opaque black stockings (not sheer black) are to be worn
  • Some Senior skirts have required mending so it might be worthwhile looking at whether skirts might need attention over the break

I wish all of Year 10 and their families a good rest over this long weekend.
