School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day 2026
Holding Space – Celebrating Our School Counsellors
This School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day, we celebrate and thank our wonderful school counsellors, Marion Delprado, Lisa Williamson and Gia Aggarwal, for their ongoing dedication to the wellbeing of our students and the wider MLC School community.
The 2026 theme, Holding Space, recognises the importance of creating safe, supportive and non-judgemental environments where people feel heard, respected and valued.
Every day, our school counsellors provide students with opportunities to talk, reflect, navigate challenges and develop strategies to support their emotional wellbeing. Whether helping students manage anxiety, navigate friendships, cope with change or work through more complex challenges, their work is grounded in compassion, connection and care.
Much of this work happens quietly, behind the scenes, through the small but meaningful moments of listening, encouragement and support that can make a lasting difference in a young person’s life.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Marion, Lisa and Gia for the expertise, empathy and professionalism they bring to their roles, and for the important contribution they make to helping our students feel supported, understood and connected.
Thank you for holding space for our students and helping make MLC School a community where every girl has the opportunity to thrive.
