CAPA HSC Showcase Evening

On Monday the 31st of August we had our Creative Arts HSC Showcase Evening. It was a celebration of amazing art and music talent of our Year 12 students. 

The evening began with an exhibition of student artwork by Lila B, Maya B, Olivia J, Maddie L, Oscar M, Clarissa M, Mai N, Rayna S, Maya T, Alice T, Alisha U, Aymen V, Rosalind W, Pearl Z and Jennie Z. These talented students spent 10 months producing a ‘Body of Work’ which is a series of artworks about a chosen topic. There was a range of expressive forms including drawing, painting, etching, photomedia, sculpture, textiles, and designed objects. Please enjoy some images below of the artworks. Our Year 12 HSC music class made the most of their final public performance opportunity before their final performance examinations in week 9. Our students performed and presented original compositions with a maturity and style beyond their years, showcasing their extraordinary talent and preparation. We are so proud of how hard our Year 12 Music 2 and Music Extension students have worked throughout the year to bring them to a place of confidence and musical excellence, and glad so many people were able to come along and celebrate these achievements with us. Well done to Kai Hall, Matthew Yong, Oliver Beech, Yevin Jung, Hyejeong (Erin) Ju, Victor Zhan, Xavier Chan and Tyrone He.
