Mondovision 2026

Mondovision 2026

Week 6 saw the return of one of the school’s favourite events: Mondovision!

Our annual international song contest showcased wonderful performances in Chinese, French, Latin and Spanish, highlighting both linguistic skills and musical talent.

Congratulations to all students from Years 7 to 11 who participated. Your enthusiasm, creativity and bravery made the event a tremendous success. Performing in front of an audience is no small feat, especially in a language other than your own!

Our judges, Ms Ryan and Ms Juhn, had a tough decision to make when selecting this year’s runners-up and winners. After much deliberation, the Year 8 and Year 9 Chinese students were named runners-up for their fantastic performance.

This year’s champions were the Year 11 French group: Grace Chandler, Isabella Conroy, Orla Darroch, Josephine Grayden, Marnie Flett, Claire Gyton, Ella McCormack, Alexis Monahan, Ivy Ogilvie-Duggan, Amelie Singer, Isha Singh and Scarlett White who impressed both the judges and audience alike with their own take on the song Voulez-vous in French, taking home first prize and the coveted Mondovision trophy.

Congratulations to all our performers, and a huge thank you to Amelie Hewitt-Taylor and Yolanda Liu for hosting the event, to our judges as well as to the students and staff who came along to support and cheer. Your enthusiasm helped make Mondovision 2026 a truly memorable celebration of languages, music and culture!
