In 2024, Year 10 students will have the opportunity to take part in a rewarding Service-Learning trip to Murrurundi, a picturesque town located at the base of the Liverpool and Great Dividing Ranges.
Program Highlights:
- Support Regional Communities: Students will lend a helping hand to those in need in rural areas, directly contributing to the wellbeing of local communities.
- Hands-On Farm Work: Learn practical skills while working on local farms. Activities include pruning branches, tidying up shearing sheds, fixing fences, learning to shear sheep, and more.
- Unique Rural Experience: Gain insight into life on the land and develop a deeper appreciation for the challenges and rewards of rural living.
This trip is not just about service—it’s about learning, building relationships, and gaining practical skills in a beautiful, rural setting.

** NB: Year 10 Students can put the Distinctives Levy towards the cost of this trip. Use of the credit can only be applied to one trip in 2025. The Regional Service trip will be cost neutral for families who choose to use their credit towards this program.
