Regional Service Learning Trip – Year 10

Round Square Outcomes: Service, Environmentalism and Leadership

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference in regional New South Wales!

In 2024, Year 10 students will have the opportunity to take part in a rewarding Service-Learning trip to Murrurundi, a picturesque town located at the base of the Liverpool and Great Dividing Ranges.

Program Highlights:

  • Support Regional Communities: Students will lend a helping hand to those in need in rural areas, directly contributing to the wellbeing of local communities.
  • Hands-On Farm Work: Learn practical skills while working on local farms. Activities include pruning branches, tidying up shearing sheds, fixing fences, learning to shear sheep, and more.
  • Unique Rural Experience: Gain insight into life on the land and develop a deeper appreciation for the challenges and rewards of rural living.

This trip is not just about service—it’s about learning, building relationships, and gaining practical skills in a beautiful, rural setting.

Join us for this meaningful and hands-on experience that combines service, learning, and a connection to the land. Don’t miss the chance to make a real impact while learning valuable skills in the heart of regional NSW!
