What’s happening in Gifted and Talented?

Maths Olympiad

Year 7 and 8 talented mathematicians have now completed the Maths Olympiad. We congratulate all participants on their involvement and resilience- this is an exceptionally tough competition!

We congratulate the following achievements:

Year 8, Maisie H. – top 10% (90th percentile)

Year 8, Nysa H. – top 25%

Year 7, Chloe K. – top 10% (90th percentile)

ADVANCE NOTICE: NEWMAN SYMPOSIUM 30th November 2026

The Newman Symposium this year will be for students in Stage 4 only.

Stage 4 Newman students are expected to attend this wonderful showcase with their families on 30th November from 4pm-7pm.

The showcase is student-led and will be an excellent opportunity to understand more fully the rationale and pedagogy underpinning the Newman Program.
