Year 8 Japanese visit Nihongo Tanken Centre

Mr Gillespie and Ms Salisbury accompanied Year 8 Japanese to the Nihongo Tanken Centre in early December. You can see that the teachers enjoyed dressing up in traditional attire! Competitive games reinforced students’ knowledge of vocabulary while demonstrations and activities strengthened their cultural awareness. Everyone very much enjoyed obento, tasty Japanese style lunch boxes .
