Chooice (initially set up as the Buy New Zealand Made Facebook page) was a Lockdown initiative set up by enterprising Wellingtonian Sarah Colcord who wanted to help talented Kiwis who, with the closure of their local markets, had suffered potentially catastrophic declines in sales.
And so, the Buy New Zealand Made (now known as “Chooice”) Facebook page was born. And New Zealanders came out in force to enrol their products and services and support fellow Kiwi artisans and business owners. With 1,434 retailers and 544,000 members, Chooice has quickly grown to be one of the largest shopping malls in the country, and created and saved thousands of livelihoods along the way!
