President’s message

Kia ora,

Hope you are well in your respective institutions at this very busy time of the year as you celebrate successes and achievements at various events, whether they be graduation ceremony, prize-giving, awards dinner or donor functions, as well as looking ahead and start planning for 2021.

As we move rapidly towards the end of the academic year, we are also approaching our Annual General Meeting for Educate Plus New Zealand Chapter.

This year, the AGM will be held in Christchurch on Friday 20 November, 4.30pm. We warmly welcome all those nearby to join us at 3.00pm at the UC Arts City Location (Old Chemistry) for a private tour and enjoy the newly opened exhibition ‘MYTHS AND MORTALS: Life in Ancient Times’ at the Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities prior to the AGM. Following the AGM, we will then have a networking get together over a drink or two and have a panel discussion reflecting on ‘Year 2020 – What have we learnt? What will we retain? And what is going to change?’ (This event is free to attend. Welcome drink and nibbles will be provided)

For those members who aren’t able to join us in person, please participate in the New Zealand Chapter’s AGM as we welcome your nominations for committee, votes by proxy, and any items you wish to bring up for general business.
