Prayer

Loving God,

As a mother gives life and care to her children, 

so your love nurtures and sustains all people.

Bless all mothers and women who nurture others, 

that they may be strengthened in faith, love and 

wisdom as they care for those entrusted to them.

Grant that we, their daughters and 

sons may honour them always with gratitude, 

kindness and deep respect.
