St Paul in his letter to the Romans says that “love is the fulfilment of the law.” As we approach the end of Term 3, let us remember that the love of Jesus Christ for us, the love of Christians for Jesus Christ and the love of Christians for humanity is the answer for living our lives.
Celebrating Year 12 Graduation Mass
Thank you to our celebrating priests – Fr Greg Walsh from St Anthony’s Marsfield, Fr Steve Drum from Ryde Gladesville Parish and Fr Pawel Kopczynski from St Kevin’s Eastwood – for the joyful and prayerful Graduation Mass. Thank you to Mrs Caroline Marsh and the Bel Canto Choir for leading the singing during the Mass.
You are invited to pray the following prayer for our Year 12 students during their HSC examination period:
God our Father we ask that Year 12 students feel your closeness during the HSC examinations.
Give them calm hearts and quiet confidence in the knowledge that you hold them in the palm of your hand.
Bless them with keen understanding and a retentive memory.
Give them the ability to grasp things correctly, be exact in their explanations and an ability to express themselves clearly. Direct their progress and help them in the completion of each of their responses.
Holy Spirit send to them your gifts of wisdom and knowledge.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Sydney Catholic Schools Year 8 and 10 RE Tests
On Wednesday 19 October 2022 all students in Years 8 and 10 in Sydney Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney will participate in the Religious Education Test. Students will complete the Test in Period 2. Students absent on the day will sit the ‘make-up test’ on Thursday 20 October 2022.
