Subject selection

During Community Time, Year 10 students participated in subject inquiry talks this week. This allowed students to hear from our Key Learning Area Coordinators about details of subjects offered in Years 11 and 12. Students had the opportunity to ask questions to make informed choices for their pattern of study to achieve their HSC credential. I congratulate the students on their engagement and sense of maturity.

Next week, Year 8 students engage in a similar process as they choose two elective subjects for their Stage 5 studies. Later in the year, Year 7 students will participate in a language taster day to allow them to choose from French, Italian or Spanish in Year 8 next year.

Parent/Student/Teacher conferences

As mentioned by Dr Ireland, Parent/Student/Teacher conferences are on Thursday, 30 June and Friday, 1 July. A reminder that bookings can now be made for these important conferences for Years 7 to 10. Semester One reports will be published on COMPASS on Friday, 24 June.
