Important School Bus Updates
Busways and Transit NSW have advised that they are currently surveying school bus routes. They have asked the College to remind students to use their Opal cards and tap on and off all school services so that they have an accurate picture of students’ travel on their services.
Please note the pending changes to the services provided for the College below.
Routes 585W & 577w
Busways, the operator for Transit NSW of our school bus servives as advised the following changes to these bus routes. Please review the updated service dates and temporary stop changes below to plan accordingly.
Route 577w: Meadowbank Upgrade & Bus Stop Changes
Context: Construction works for the Constitution Road, Meadowbank upgrade are scheduled for completion in September 2027.
Start Date: Monday, 7 September 2026
Towards Marist Sisters’ College, Woolwich:
Temporary Diversion: Buses will divert from Meadowbank Station via Constitution Road, Bowden Street, Thorn Street, Sutherland Avenue, Thistle Street, and Belmore Street before rejoining the normal route.
Missed Stop: TSN 2112139 (Constitution Road before Belmore Street)
Alternative Stop: TSN 2112137 (Belmore Street opposite Suttor Avenue)
Towards Meadowbank Station: Operating as normal with no missed stops.
Route 585W: Updated Dates for North Ryde Diversions
Context: Sydney Water’s Ryde to Pymble Pipeline Upgrade requires the closure of Bridge Road, North Ryde (between Ellen Street and Santa Rosa Park). Pipeline upgrade works will continue in stages until 2028.
Updated Schedule: Monday, 28 September 2026 – Wednesday, 21 October 2026 (subject to weather and stage completion).
Action Required: Please check the Transport for NSW Trip Planner app starting Monday, 28 September for updated timing before travelling.
