All Schools Touch Football
Huge congratulations to Kendall K and Lily M, who proudly represented NSW Combined Catholic Colleges (NSW CCC) at the NSW All Schools Touch Football Championships. Both athletes impressed across the two-day tournament, showcasing sharp touch football skills, fast footwork and smart defensive reads against elite opposition. Kendall delivered a composed and classy performance, showing great speed, vision and leadership, while Lily brought consistent energy, grit and strong defensive discipline. A special congratulations to Kendall on her selection into the NSW team, where she will compete at the School Sport Australia Touch Football Championships later in October.

AFL – Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 2
MSCW Term 3 External Representative Sport has burst into action in the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 2 competitions, with our AFL and Rugby 7s teams showcasing exceptional athleticism, discipline and competitive fire. From clean, contested efforts and sharp ball movement in AFL to fast paced, tactical brilliance in Rugby 7s, both squads have opened the season with confidence, cohesion and a fierce MSCW spirit. With momentum building and performances strengthening each round, our teams now turn their focus to the march towards the semi-finals and finals, determined to keep raising the standard and push deep into the Sydney Spring Championships.
 
Conference 2 Tennis

Congratulations to our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Tennis Teams on their outstanding performances at the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 2 Championships, held at Southend Tennis, Strathfield.

Our athletes displayed impressive skill and sportswomanship, delivering powerful serves, sharp returns and confident strokes throughout the day. Their teamwork, determination and spirit were exceptional.

SCS Hockey Report

The MSCW Junior and Senior Hockey Teams lit up Moorebank Hockey Complex with a huge day of action. Our students hit the turf for the SCS Championships, taking on schools from across the region in fast, competitive matchups. With sharp ball movement, strong defence and some cracking goals, MSCW put real talent on display. Flying the MSCW colours with pride, they played with determination, teamwork and that unmistakable MSCW spirit.

Sydney Catholic Schools Athletics Championships 2026

The top athletes from all four Sydney Catholic Schools conferences came together for a huge day of action at the Sydney Catholic Schools Athletics Championships, showcasing speed, strength and skill across the Sydney Olympic Park competition track and warm up track.

MSCW rose to the occasion, producing impressive results right across the age divisions.

In a phenomenal finish, MSCW claimed the title of Sydney Girls Overall Champions 2026

Conference 2 Rugby 7s competition
Congratulations to the MSCW Junior, Intermediate and Senior Rugby 7s teams for an outstanding performance at the Conference 2 Rugby 7s competition! The Junior team fought through a tough draw to secure a well-earned 4th place finish, while the Intermediate team went undefeated, a phenomenal achievement that highlights their skill, composure and determination. The Senior team delivered a powerful campaign of their own, pushing all the way to the grand final and finishing as runners up after a strong, disciplined performance.
 
Across all divisions, MSCW showcased exceptional speed, agility and ball handling, using sharp footwork to break defensive lines and delivering powerful tackles that kept opponents under pressure from start to finish.

SCS Softball

On a beautiful day at Kelso North Softball Diamonds, the Junior and Senior Softball teams proudly represented MSCW at the Sydney Catholic Schools Softball Championships. 

The Junior team displayed excellent teamwork, combining sharp catching, strong fielding, steady pitching and confident batting to finish in 3rd place for the Championship. 

The Senior team delivered outstanding pitching, crisp fielding, smart batting, and quick base running, ultimately claiming the title of Sydney Champions. 

Congratulations to all students for their effort, teamwork and dedication on the day!
