Italian Competition Success

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS: MAY 

The Italian classes — Year 8 (8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6), along with the Year 9 and Year 10 Elective Italian, took part in the Education Perfect International Languages Competition in May. 

Our school did exceptionally well placing 2nd in Italian overall internationally and with many of us receiving Certificate of Credit 500 points, Bronze 1000 points and Silver 2000 Points, which these certificates were given out at the previous assembly 

The competition tested our vocabulary, grammar, listening skills and cultural knowledge. We really rose to the challenge as a school. Our achievements highlight the strength of the Italian program and the enthusiasm we as learners bring to studying Italian.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS: JUL/AUG 

In the End of July from Monday the 27th to the 2nd of August 2026. Our school participated in the 2026 NSW Education Perfect Languages Competition for Italian – Year 8 (8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6), along with the Year 9 and Year 10 Elective Italian. Our School performed well, ending 2ndin all Languages and First in Italian for the State. Many of us achieved a Credit 500 pts, Bronze 1000 pts, Silver 2000 points, Gold 3000 points, Emerald 5000 points and Elite (Pink) 10 000 points. 

This competition proved how in a short span of time we as a school can rise to a challenge and use our vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking skills to showcase our strengths with studying Italian.
