University Admissions Centre (UAC) reminders for Year 12

Early bird fee applications closing – 30 September

Students who are yet to submit their UAC application should aim to do so before early bird applications close at 11.59pm on Tuesday 30 September. After this date, UAC’s processing charge increases significantly.

School Recommendation Scheme preferences deadline – 6 November.

If you applied for SRS please remember to finalise preferences on your UAC application by this date.

Educational Access Scheme

The Educational Access Scheme (EAS) Can help students who have experienced educational challenges receive a uni offer. Check UAC’s  website for circumstances students can claim under EAS and required documents.

Year 12 students applying for EAS will need to submit their EAS application and documents by Tuesday 18 November for the application to be considered for December Round 2 (23 December), the main ATAR-based offer round.

Webinar – Applying through UAC: Wednesday September 17 at 6pm

Students are invited to join the  live UAC Digital webinar next Wednesday as they discuss applying through UAC. You’ll hear all the essentials about the Educational Access Scheme, adjustment factors, preferences and offers. Tune into the webinar on Instagram, YouTube or Facebook.

Tips for students: UAC course preferences

Undergraduate applicants can select up to 5 course preferences when they apply for uni through UAC. The UAC team has put together some info for students about what order to list their preferences, how and when to change them, and what to do once they’ve accepted an offer. UAC course.

ACU Year 12 HSC Revision Webinars:  September 7 to September 10, 2026

Join the  free online webinars delivered by expert-led sessions designed to help students  walk into exams feeling prepared. Can’t attend live? Register anyway – recordings are available to registered attendees for one week after each webinar. Find out more 

WSU Free Online HSC Study Sessions for Year 12 Students: September 28 – October 7

These will be delivered by highly qualified senior teachers with 22 free sessions across 14 key HSC subject areas, with sessions that included content analysis, tips and strategies, and a detailed exploration of key syllabus and curriculum areas.

Students will have the opportunity to sit a practice exam and deconstruction, with feedback and advice from experts. Find out more

 

Macquarie University – changes to adjustment factors

Macquarie’s local area adjustment factor for students is no longer available to students. New academic achievement adjustment factors will be available to students. Details to be available to students in the coming weeks.

Internationally Educated – Study In The US Virtual Information Session: 8 September 6pm

Learn about studying in the US and the US university application process, directly from a former Assistant Director of Admissions. Q&A session will follow. Suggested for students in Year 9- Year 12. For more information and to register visit here.
