The Australian Mathematics Competition
This year MMCC had 132 students sit for the Australian Mathematics Competition and almost 87% of the students received a certificate! This is a wonderful achievement and we congratulate all of the students for their efforts in this very difficult, internationally sat Competition!
The results were:

21 Participation certificates |
The Distinction certificates are awarded to the top 25% of students who sit for the competition and the Credit certificates are awarded to the top 60% of students. The Proficiency award is for students who answer a set number of questions correctly. Congratulations to Bonita Chen, Year 9, who was awarded Best In School for 2019.
As many schools only allow their best students to sit for the competition these are wonderful results!
