Archbishop Leadership Forum

On Tuesday 12th November, Jane, Adriana, Mary and myself, were given the privilege of attending the Archbishop Leadership Forum as representatives of Mary MacKillop Catholic College. We were extremely nervous yet excited to meet the other student leaders from Sydney Catholic Schools, as we anticipated their perspective on what leadership meant to them.

With the assistance of Archbishop Anthony Fisher, we were able to discuss the various different aspects of what makes someone a leader of Christ and the significance of implementing faith not just within our schools, but into our everyday lives.

Interacting with the other student leaders was definitely challenging since many students had differing views on controversial topics, however, it was overall an eye-opening and valuable experience.

This experience has given me the opportunity to connect with students from other schools and to understand the significance of Christ throughout our journey of leadership at the College. We thank Ms Tate who accompanied us on the day.
