Parents and Friends Association (P&F) Meeting, AGM and Nominations

Hello and welcome back! I hope you all had a fun and restful break and are ready to dive into Term 4 with energy and enthusiasm. Before we know it Christmas will be upon us, but there’s much to do and look forward to until then. Both the school and the P&F have a raft of events and activities to see us through to the end of the year, and I hope you are able to be a part of some of them.

A key part of Term 4 for the P&F, is the election of a new Executive for the coming year. The officeholders will be announced or voted for, in the event of multiple nominations, at the Annual General Meeting. This year’s AGM is on Wednesday 18 November, and I encourage you to attend even if you are not nominating for a position. I would further encourage as many of you as possible to nominate for the positions, which can be found, together with the names of the current officeholders, in Compass. Having been in the P&F for four years, in three different positions, I can truly say it is a rewarding experience and one that has provided me with insights and inspiration.

The nomination form can be found here and completed forms should be submitted to the Secretary of the P&F at pfsecretary@mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au.

Nominations are open now and will close on Friday 6 November. I look forward to a flood of nominations and to seeing many of you at the various events at school in Term 4.
