From the Head of Senior School
The MLC School Idol heats have brought plenty of entertainment to our lunch breaks this week! At one session I attended, a Year 7 student was followed by a Year 11 student, and both received equally enthusiastic cheers. It is wonderful to see our girls encourage and celebrate one another. That same spirit was evident at assembly as we announced our Middle Years Leaders and Prefects. Congratulations to all our leaders!

Attendance notices
We acknowledge the issues some families have experienced with the attendance process, particularly on Wednesday, and apologise for any confusion caused. We have been extensively testing the attendance module to address these issues and improve the process for parents. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this process, and particularly for your support of Anita Brown in the Studies Office. We are grateful to Anita for her work in helping families navigate these changes.
House Caps
In Assembly today we launched our House Caps. All ten Houses now have an official House Cap which can be worn at recess and lunch and at House carnivals. Our captains will be assisting the P&F to sell these on Monday during lunchtime in the Bird Bath Quad. The caps will be $20, so please encourage your daughter to bring money to buy a cap. Card facilities will be available. Thank you to Lauren Hutchins for arranging this for our girls.
Study Hub
Study Hub is a free after-school study program for our Year 11 and Year 12 students, which runs during term time, Monday to Thursday from 3.30pm–6pm. Current Year 10 2026 students are invited to attend Study Hub in Term 4, along with Year 11.
