From the Head of Senior School

It has been wonderful to see the energy and enthusiasm across the School during STEM and Book Week. The Scholar captaincy team has done a great job. Parents, apologies if you thought that Book Week costumes were behind you – it turns out that the students (and teachers) really love it!

The PDHPE department were the talk of the School as Mrs Claire White and the seven dwarves, and the English department brought their texts to life which the students loved. Our Science department has turned the Senior Centre ground floor into a crime scene; the students were so excited to see a CSI scene all set up for them on arrival.

Looking forward to Week 7, we are excited to welcome Year 6 students from other schools for Experience Day on Tuesday, providing them with an opportunity to connect with our community and gain a sense of life in the Senior School.

In staffing news, Stavroula Koulouris from our Maths department is moving abroad and will leave at the end of term, We thank Stavroula for her valued contribution and wish her every happiness and success in this exciting new chapter. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome her back in the future.

Finally, we warmly invite all dads and father figures to join us for our Father’s Day breakfast on Friday 4 September next week. We also wish all our dancers the very best as they prepare to take to the stage for their Dance Showcase, and we look forward to celebrating their hard work, as it is always a great show.
