Year 10 PDHPE Update
As Year 10 near the end of their compulsory Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) journey, students have been enjoying Recreational Sport, where they have designed and led practical activities for their peers. This has provided a valuable opportunity to take greater ownership of their learning while building leadership, teamwork, communication and confidence and skills that will support them well beyond the practical classroom.
Theory lessons have also focused on learning for life, with students exploring practical skills in preparation for their Immersion experiences and life beyond school. This has included nutritious meal planning, shopping on a budget, and driver education. Their upcoming visit to RYDA during Immersion will further develop their understanding of road safety and responsible decision-making. While some students will continue their PDHPE journey through Stage 6 IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science or HSC Health and Movement Science, we wish all Year 10 students every success as they move into the next stage of Senior School.
