Year 8

Welcome back to Term 4! It’s been great to see the students back, ready to go.

Year 8 have a few assessments in the coming weeks, along with Middle Years Leadership nominations, SRC voting, the Middle Years Production, exchanges and preparations for Year 9. I’m looking forward to seeing all the amazing things Year 8 will do this term.

Uniform Reminders: Both students and parents have been notified about hat wearing at recess and lunch. All students are required to wear a hat at recess and lunch, even when sitting in the shade. This term, any hat is fine but from January next year the students must be in the MLC School navy blue cap or bucket hat. We truly appreciate your support of sun safety. Students are also asked to ensure their make up (including no false lashes), jewellery and hair adhere to the School uniform code. This can be found in the student diary or the parent handbook. Please also ensure your daughter’s school tunic is regulation length, many of them have grown taller over the winter months!

After the success of last year’s St Patrick College’s dance, we have been invited back to attend the Year 8 dance. Please read the information here. It is scheduled for Thursday 12 November. Get in quickly to purchase tickets if you are interested in attending.
