Year 10 Work Experience : Due Date Friday 11 September

A very important reminder: Student Placement Records (SPRs) are due Friday 11 September.

We are now in the final weeks before the deadline, and there is limited time for placements to be processed and approved.

Students that have secured a placement, are to submit their completed SPR as soon as possible.

We ask that they do not wait until the due date, as delays may affect approval and preparation for your placement.

Students that may need support in finding a host employer or completing forms can meet us directly or attend one of our Wednesday lunchtime Work Experience Workshops.

We also appreciate any support for students still looking for placements. If you have any family or friends that can provide additional placement or offer their business as a potential host employer, we encourage you to complete your details using the following link.

Parents and carers also have access to the following resources and links through the MLC School Omnia App.

*Please rest assured that the School will provide host employers with the updated AON certificate as soon as it is received. This is expected to be available in mid-October, in advance of the scheduled work experience placement dates.

In the meantime, once the completed Student Placement Record has been submitted and received school sign-off, host employers are sent a copy along with the current certificate.

The accompanying email will also note that the updated certificate will be forwarded as soon as it becomes available.

Host employers have been confirming placements on this basis.
