P&C Funding

At the September meeting, the P&C was very pleased to approve the allocation of up to $15,000 for the purchase and installation of water refill stations at the school. This will enable students to healthily hydrate at several locations through-out the school grounds.

We were also delighted to finalise the payment to the school of the following requests approved at the P&C February 2020 meeting.

$7000 – Microscopes for the school Science department
$3800 – IOT Bundle and Projects Equipment
$16150 – Visual Arts department
$5000 – Second Set of Futsal Goalposts (Last year the P&C provided $100,000 towards the construction of the Futsal courts themselves)
$750 – Student Wellbeing

Other notable donations/expenditures this year include:

$2490 – Speech Day Prizes
$4950 – IMP projects
$2454 – Thank you school staff lunch/canteen vouchers/hampers

Welcome to New P&C Executive Member and Uniform Shop Representative

A very warm welcome to both Tania Koit who was elected to the P&C Executive at September meeting and to Teresa Matthews who is our new Uniform Shop Representative. It is energising to have Year 7 families getting involved with the P&C and we continue to encourage participation from parents and carers from all years.

Uniform Shop

From the beginning of Term 4, the Uniform Shop will open within Covid-19 safety guidelines. Purchases should still be completed online at www.quickcliq.com.au and deliveries will continue in class, however students will be able to return items to the uniform shop. Only one student will be permitted at a time in the uniform shop and must sanitise their hands on entry to the uniform shop. No cash will be accepted at the uniform shop. P&C Next Meeting

The P&C has adapted well to online meetings and we would encourage parents and carers to attend the next zoom meeting on October 14th and learn more about what the P&C does and how you can get involved. The zoom link will be sent out from the school.
