Title and institution:  Director Community Relations, Santa Maria College

What does your role entail? I am the President of the WA Chapter of Educate Plus.  I work with a fabulous committee to provide professional development and networking opportunities for our members.  Our committee is responsible for membership numbers, sponsorship and the financials associated with the running of the Chapter and the organisation of the WA Chapter Conference, which is held biannually.  I also am the WA representative on the Educate Plus National Board.

What are you most looking forward to in this role? For Educate Plus – Working with the fabulous committee and meeting more of our members

When looking back at the end of the year what do you hope to have achieved? I hope that our members see even more value in their membership with Educate Plus and that each and every one of them have seen growth in their professional development.

What is your favourite book? Hmm… I am not sure if I have one but in relation to business I enjoyed Blue Ocean Strategy by W.Chan Kim and Renne Mauborgne although it is has been a while since I read it. My favourite fiction, I loved To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee.

What does your role entail? I coordinate opportunities for members who work in Fundraising to connect, learn and share through a combination of free and paid events

What are you most looking forward to in this role? Meeting fellow members and learning from their experiences

When looking back at the end of the year what do you hope to have achieved? I hope the WA Chapter provided members with value in their membership and also new skills and knowledge to enhance them in their fields

What is your favourite book? Currently I am reading and enjoying The Bonesetter’s Daughter but I also enjoy anything written by Jodi Picoult
