Reflection After Action – Josie Charbel Visit: Where to after our Staff Spirituality Day?

In the weeks following our Staff Spirituality Day, we were grateful to welcome Josie Charbel from the St Vincent de Paul Society back to our community for a Reflection After Action session. Having guided us earlier in the term through a powerful Reflection Before Action on homelessness and Catholic Social Teaching, Josie helped staff now look back on their outreach experiences with fresh insight.

Together, we explored where God had been present in the people we met, what challenged us, and how our service can continue to shape our daily work at Domremy. This time of reflection affirmed the transformation many staff felt – returning inspired, grateful, and renewed in their commitment to uphold the dignity of every person. It also invited us to consider where to from here – what social justice focus will our staff and school community be a party of moving forward. We are encouraging our community to keep living the Presentation charism of compassion and justice long after the day itself has passed.
