The Eucharist 2028 Congress promises to be a shared journey of faith and renewal. We invite our Domremy Community to join us in this moment of transformation and renewal as a Church.

A national tour of the first-class relic of St. Carlo Acutis

Sydney is hosting a national tour of the first-class relic of St. Carlo Acutis (the first millennial saint). A section of his pericardium is currently visiting Sydney for public veneration and special Masses before embarking on a nationwide tour across Australian dioceses.

Key locations and events in Sydney include:

St Mary’s Cathedral: Hosted the official Sydney Welcome Mass and public veneration on June 25, presided over by Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP.

Our Lady of Dolours Church, Chatswood: Serves as the Broken Bay Diocese’s “Shrine of Hope for Young People.” The church holds a permanent first-class relic (two strands of hair) and features a dedicated Eucharistic Adoration chapel.

Catholic Institute of Sydney (Strathfield): Hosted specialized talks regarding his legacy and work cataloging Eucharistic miracles on June 30.

October Return: The national touring relic is scheduled to return to the Archdiocese of Sydney in October for extensive visits across local schools and parishes.

St. Carlo Acutis is known as the “Cyber Apostle” and patron of youth for his dedication to using the internet to catalogue worldwide Eucharistic miracles before his passing in 2006.
