Songs of the Shows  – Performance

On Sunday, a number of St Patrick’s College staff and students performed at the Townsville Music Centre’s first recital at Carlyle Gardens. Organised by Dr Mark Smith, “Songs from the Shows” was a musical delight with our St Patrick’s College Instrumental and Extension Music students performing alongside seasoned Townsville talent. Students, Kalani Guillien, Sarah Bradley and Amelia Betcher, and Vocal Tutor, Rachel Cairns, performed numerous pieces from well-known Music Theatre shows, while Alyssa Kelly performed two comic opera pieces to an audience of approximately 200 people. Congratulations to all those involved.

Ensembles have Commenced for 2020

All Instrumental Music Lessons and Ensembles have resumed and students are already hard at work preparing performances for the upcoming Twilight Open Evening. A reminder for all students that if for any reason you will be absent from rehearsals to please email your teachers/tutors or contact the school office.
