Meet our new staff members

Please get to know the wonderful new team members who will be helping support our students to learn and grow in 2024:

	Nikki-Rae Semaan – Mathematics and Religious Education Teacher I feel very blessed to be joining the College community. I am passionate about learning and look to create an environment where your daughters can flourish and achieve their full potential.  I look forward to the year ahead and all of the challenges and opportunities it will bring.
	Helen Elachi –  Religious Education Teacher I am thrilled and blessed to be returning to the College after a seven-year absence. I come back as a mum of three children, motherhood has truly reignited my passion for teaching and more specifically the teaching of our Catholic faith. I am passionate about empowering each individual to achieve their personal best and to further your daughter on her faith journey.  I look forward to the year ahead and to working with the amazing staff of the college.
	Evelyn Papalexandris – English Teacher I am so excited to be teaching at the College this year. I am highly committed to ensuring that our girls are achieving their absolute best whilst also maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment in the classroom. I am looking forward to meeting and chatting with staff, students and parents throughout the year.
	Louisa Stanford – Learning Support Teacher I am excited to be joining such a warm and supportive team. I look forward to a fulfilling year brimming with laughter, learning and collegiality. I aim to help promote a culture of inclusivity, by engaging each student to be confident learners and assist them to achieve success in class and beyond.
	Marisa D’Ippolito – English Teacher I wish to create a learning environment that fosters inclusiveness and that acknowledges each student’s strengths and areas of improvement and thus, enriches the educational experience for all students at the College.
	Rachel Maiden – Admin Assistant Reception (Thursday/Friday) I am excited to be joining this vibrant school community and I look forward to getting to know the students and parents. I have a background in school administration and a personal passion for music and singing. I will be on deck in the front office on Thursdays and Fridays – please do come and say hello!
	Katrina Zenere – Science Teacher I am very excited to be joining the College community this year. I am dedicated to fostering students so they can achieve their best and reach their full potential. I am also particularly passionate about teaching girls and aspiring the next generation of young women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). I am looking forward to working with staff, students, and the community throughout the year.
	Melina Mihaljevic I am delighted to be joining the College community this year as a new member of the CAPA faculty. I’ve received such a warm welcome from the staff and students and I’m looking forward to contributing to the rich artistic legacy of the College.
	Emily Aitken & Amanda Newell – HSIE Teacher & IB & Library We are excited to be working together within the HSIE faculty this year teaching Psychology and also teaching Theory of Knowledge within the International Baccalaureate Program. We are passionate about working with students to maximise their potential. We strive to work with our students to find ways to help them succeed and develop, particularly in fields of research and writing.
	Deborah Crombie I am very grateful and excited to be joining such a wonderful College. I aim to foster an environment where all students feel valued and supported and strive to achieve their personal best.  I look forward to working with and getting to know the College community.
	Dion Bozikis I am eminently grateful for the opportunity that I have been granted to work in the context of the wonderful staff and school community of St Ursula’s. I desire to foster a learning environment which brings out the best in students across a range of domains. I look forward with anticipation to the unfolding of the coming year.
