The SCEGGS Podcast “Walk The Mile” Episode 75 The Joys of a Journey with Lisa Perkovic

I always look forward to a holiday and I reckon I wouldn’t be alone in that pleasure. But what to do with the time off isn’t always straight forward. Do I stay home in my pyjamas or should I venture out to somewhere unseen? Old Girl Lisa Perkovic from the Class of 2005  is a travel writer that has seen a lot of the world and has to write about it for a career. For some people, this sounds like the dream job. In this podcast, Lisa talks about what she has learnt, some of the challenges she has faced and what keeps her passion for travelling alive. It might help if you are lucky enough to be considering your next destination. I hope you enjoy our conversation.

And a reminder that we are published on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other popular platforms so you can access it easier from your preferred device. I always welcome your feedback or any ideas you may have for further episodes. You will find each podcast as they are produced in this newsletter and on the other platforms as well as our website.

Donations for those less fortunate

Thanks to all of those people that have brought in groceries, cooked meals and lots of warm blankets and clothing over this term. I will be taking a lot of this stuff out in the holidays so please keep bringing it in until the end of term. The Term 3 dates for the Monday Food Delivery are now online. If you would like to put your name down or would like to join for the first time and have no idea what it is, please click here.

And there may be another new and exciting activity about to happen for students in the Secondary School soon. Watch this space…..
