Public Speaking

Congratulations to Pippa Brenner (Year 12) and Siena Walsh (Year 8) who both came in first at the Rostrum Voice of Youth State Finals on Saturday.  Around 900 students entered the competition and they are through to the National Final where the four top students from each Division represent their State.  They have both dedicated numerous hours of research, writing and rehearsing speeches, as well as practicing impromptu speaking and it is a huge achievement to make it this far. 

The National finals will be held on Saturday, July 25 at the Independent Theatre in North Sydney.  I will publish more details closer to the date.  Anyone is welcome to attend to support the girls.
