In the spotlight this week:

 

Girl Asleep

And we’re open! SCEGGS first production for the year, Girl Asleep, premiered last night to a capacity audience. Those in attendance cheered wildly at the engaging and accomplished performances given by the cast and crew.

Girl Asleep plays in The Black Box Theatre (under the Playhouse) this week with remaining performances sold out. Though there is room for the Saturday 1pm show.

The production has been directed by Old Girl Ms Poppy Lynch. She has been enthusiastically supported by the talents of Ms Eddi Goodfellow as Technical Designer and Ms Anna Gardner as Set/Costume Designer.

The cast consists of students from Years 7 to 11:

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This SCOT’s production plays the Parade Theatre at NIDA from June 24 to 27.

The SCEGGS cast consists of:

Twelfth Night

SCEGGS’ second production this year will be Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night which will play in Term 4 – November 18 to 21.

The production will be directed by Mr Stephen Colyer.

Auditions will be conducted early in Term 3 on Sunday July 26 from 10am to 3pm.
