Concert Band and Stage Band

The Concert Band performed Circus Marchimus (the piece that won them a Gold at the Australian School Band Festival earlier this year) and Highlights from How To Train your Dragon at the FORM Showcase Evening. They also performed as part of the collaborative ‘From Now On’ ensemble. Earlier this week, the band played at ‘Carols on the Plaza’ for the College during lunchtime.

 

The Stage Band, who had been quietly rehearsing throughout the year had their first performance of 2022 opening the annual Mini Maestros event for our local primary schools. A week later, the band presented Chameleon, Rock Around The Clock and All I Want For Christmas at the FORM Showcase Evening. And finally an encore of All I Want For Christmas was a hit, closing the Carols on the Plaza event.

 

2022 was such a wonderful year for both groups and we are excited to present many new songs in the new year.
